STARTplanner was founded in 2015 by Kristy Gayton and Jenny Grumbling after seeing a need for an all-inclusive system that dealt with every aspect of life. They created the STARTplanner® System and implemented it into a planner called STARTplanner, something that didn't just focus on time, but encompassed goals, finances, healthy lifestyles, home life organization, and of course, schedule and time management. The planner became extremely popular and sold out year after year. Today, STARTplanner focuses on the very same problem people face - more holistic planning. Working on new tools that help people to do just that, the STARTplanner® System inside STARTplanner is updated each year, customized for the needs of today.
As an entrepreneur, mom of three boys, author of Start Balancing, Podcast Host, CEO of STARTplanner, STARTbrands, and North Georgia Escape, Kristy Gayton (formerly Dickerson) has been a sought-after keynote speaker due to her relatable story, no excuses tone, valuable advice, and upbeat personality. Kristy has devoted her life to motivating individuals towards achieving success and happiness in their own lives! Her true passion lies in inspiring and teaching others to create change, embrace the hard, and be your best, authentic self! As a productivity, organization, and financial expert, Kristy been featured in business publications such as Forbes, Entreprenuer.com, and Inc.com, as well as invited to speak to private companies and universities such as Harvard. Although she has a financial degree from Kennesaw State University, she insists her vast business and life experience has been the true education. Kristy states, " I have always loved organization from a young age! Planning is the art of creating a vision, executing, and pivoting when needed. Writing down ideas, goals and plans helps with retention and growth (and apps are out of sight, out of mind!). Our system is effective, and I am so proud of it! Through my challenges, I learned the importance of planning, emotional mastery, self-care, financial management, and so much more.
